We took the kiddos to the city fireworks show this 4th of July. Both were mesmerized. Cheryl and I hadn't been to a live, public display in a long time, so it was even fun for us!
I shot these pics with our Olympus Evolt 500 - a digital SLR. It was hard not to get a decent pic if you were pointed in the right direction!

cool pics...but our firework display was on TV! haha. seriously, though, i hope the fireworks were a lot of fun for yall. we had a great time too here. we went downtown with some friends to watch the city's. they had them coordinated with the orchestra....and they played the STAR WARS theme!!! way cool. some of the fireworks were those that scatter and shoot out in all directions--made me think of X-wings and Imperial fighters shooting every which way...haha

sooooo, these are some cool fireworks, but i think i've already seen them a few too many times. got anything new! ha
