I've never blogged before.

...Wow that wasn't hard. Just started typing and there it is: a posting. This should be easy. Now, what to blog about? ...

Hey Gabe,

AUMagic just tried to access my computer connection. I denied it. Wonder if it had something to do with blogging back to you. ????This is my first blog of any kind.

On your prayer in school--if that was all there was to the problem some Christian kids were having, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but from some of the stories I've heard, there are truly some unlawful restrictions being put on a variety of student expressions of their Christian faith on campuses around the country, i.e. referencing Jesus in literature or writing classes, etc.

My guess is that on Jay Seculow's (spelling of last name is questionable) web site you could probably learn of some real abuses of Christian rights. He is the attorney who takes the 1st amendment rights cases of Christians around the country. Seems like the name of his group is American Christian Legal Justice (ACLJ).

Anyway, your premise is probably right on. Another view of the issue is that most of us Christians aren't doing near enough praying or Bible reading at home with our children. If we are doing our best in those areas, then we can move on to protecting our children in public schools from illegal restrictions being put on their religious expressions.
